This is the place to meet the people behind scenes.

Thom - Mike's best friend from the high school days. We can whip him, beat him, drag him behind the car and he stays forever faithful to the team! When Mike needs help rebuilding the motor in a short time frame....it is Thom who drives over an hour to sweat, bleed and yes.....even cry over the car. However it is also Thom who makes us stop during the middle of the night to find a hospital because he has thrown his back out and it is also Thom that makes Mike run with a pan of water when his motorhome catches on fire!! Ha! Truely Thom is the greatest. He is always there to catch us when we fall. When we become frustrated with buying new parts, or become just too exhausted to continue going at a lightning pace; Thom is quick to offer words of wisdom or jokes to make us laugh! He is what we refer to as "family"! We love ya Thom! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Nathan- Well Nathan would be the guy who got thrown into the middle of doing everything. He is quite the handyman! He was shown what to do and the very next race, he HAD to do pretty much everything to get Mike down the track because Thom had injured himself in an unrelated nonrace incident. The young addition to the race team, he brings spunk and energy to all of us. He is always smiling and excited to start the race weekend. He is actually one of the most polite people we know, yet don't let him fool you, he can party just like the rest of us! Nathan was kind enough to include us all in his recent proposal to his wonderful fiancee' which occurred on the racetrack at Mokan in front of a huge crowd. It was an awesome sight!!! Nathan has been an extraordinary addition to our team! We love him dearly and don't know what we did without him before. Oh, I almost forgot, Nathan is also the brunt of most of Mike's jokes! If anything ever goes wrong on a weekend of racing, we all know "IT WAS NATHAN'S FAULT!"

Heather - You have to meet this girl if you come to one of our races! She is a doll! Heather is Nathan's wife now. She was totally blown away when he surprised her with a marriage proposal on the starting line at Mokan. She had thought she had won a free t-shirt and went to retrieve it.....boy was she shocked!!! They make the most awesome couple! Heather is so full of adrenalin when Mike races, she wishes he could make about 20 passes a day! She lives for the moment of his astonishing burnouts and the crowd cheering! Heather is also Shelly's shoe shopping partner. We can't go out of town without stopping at some shopping mall to find a new pair of shoes!!! Her big responsibility is helping Shelly pack the parachutes! Once again, we are focusing on making Mike safe! Thank you Heather for being you. You have been angel sent! We love you!

Kevin - Our soft spoken jock who started out last year with a broken arm! He is now a full time member of our team.....getting sweaty, greasy, and pushed to the limit! One of Kevin's responsiblities on the crew is driving the tow vehicle. He has really grown accustomed to us ALL YELLING.....GO FASTER....SLOW DOWN......WATCH OUT FOR THAT BUMP! He somehow remains good humored and excited to get to the next race!! Kevin just got married to Emily (another crew member) on 06-14-03! Congrats guys! Kevin is always rather quiet and shy, but we imagine he got that way trying to keep Emily out of trouble! Kevin has many other job duties of putting the car back together. He has truly fallen for drag racing and we hope to keep him forever on the team! Now if we could just get him to stop watching Nascar!!!!! We are so honored to have such a great and dedicated crew this year!! Kevin....thank you just doesn't seem enough!!!

Emily - Where do we start! Emily is this sweet, fragile, and innocent girl! NOT!!!! The truth is...she does really look like that, but she is wild, daring, crazy, and full of fun!!! Emily doesn't let anyone outdo her! (She just jumped a big ramp at the last race with a mini 4 wheeler!!) We were astonished, but we all gave her a standing ovation!! Emily is the one who just married Kevin and joined the race team full time this year! She has caught on to the numerous jobs soooo quick! She helps Heather and Shelly pack the parachutes, but look out boys......Emily is really interested in how the motor all goes together! As I said before, don't try to guess what Emily is going to be into next.....she will surprise you! You are such a welcome addition to our team! Thank you for taking time out of your newlywed life to spend it with us! WE LOVE YOU!!

Shelly - This could take up a few pages!! Shel has been Mike's ambition, will power,motivator and yes sometimes SPARRING PARTNER!! Her job duties are numerous but her first concern is that Mike is always safe!! She packs the chutes, makes the food, packs the trailer, tells Mike where to go (looking on the map that is!), backs Mike up after his burnouts, and yes she would be the one yelling at the starting line when Mike makes a pass that is not so straight!! But she does it with a smile! Her life is not as easy as everyone thinks, when Mike breaks something she is the one who has to raise the kid, keep the house work going, listen to Mike yell from in the garage, and keep her full time job. Their lives started at the drag strip, they met there and they got married on the dragstrip at Great Bend. We are pretty sure she was sent by GOD for Mike!! Thier Love for each other and drag racing is second to none!! And it shows!! From the bottom of all our hearts THANK YOU!! You are what Keeps this team together!!! We will try to keep it short cause Thom only has so much space!! Let us just say we Love you and could not do it without YOU!!
